On the outside, the club looked pretty seedy, and it was hard to tell whether the small number of cars in the parking lot was a good sign or a bad one. For at least a few of the cars already there - including a limousine with tinted windows and a very sad-looking sports car that still had half of a JUST MARRIED sign affixed to its rear bumper -- it was probably good, but for any Fandom students looking for a positive strip club experience, it was a little harder to tell.

At the door, there was a bouncer checking IDs (or fake IDs, as the case almost universally was with this crowd), and inside... well, inside was a strip club. There was a stage, there were dancers (of multiple genders, even!), there was a breakfast buffet that looked like it served bacon, and there was a bar. And there was glitter. Lots and lots of glitter.

The night was young, the bouncer was easily fooled, and The Silver Glitter Club was open. Enjoy, Fandomites. Or at least try not to pick up any diseases.

"Not my kind of scene, but I'll manage," Emily said. It was more her scene than most places she had been, but she had been away from it for too long, enough to forget the details.

"Fair 'nough. You'll get used to it," Kenzi said, fishing the cherry out of her drink and popping it in her mouth. "Guess you didn't know we were coming here either?"

Whoooops. Ah well.

"Who the hell decided to come here anyway?"

Seriously, she wanted to know.

"It's a mystery!" ... and if Kenzi had made suggestions ~~she wasn't taking all the credit she sure hadn't made guarantees. "Maybe Cade?" He was always a safe person to point at. Especially now.~~

"Yeah, I could see Cade suggesting it, but I can't see so many people- all girls, agreeing." Because Cade

"Well, Gert brought a book," Kenzi said seriously. "So, safe to say, she didn't expect to be here." Unless she was secretly an Evil Mastermind and knew that she'd need a good distraction. Hmm.

"Gert would bring a book anywhere, so she doesn't count," Emily said, not really blaming Gert for anything.

Take it from the real Evil Mastermind, someone was seriously pulling their strings here.

Doo dee doooo. Someone indeed. ~~The Writer so wishes this had been her idea.~~

"Look at it as a zoological field trip. Now you can say for sure that you're not happy in these venues," Kenzi suggested.

The way things are Kenzi could have caused it through sheer wishful thinking. And Irony.

"I don't pay the lions to do the nasty in public."

And after that, Emily laughed.

Kenzi choked on her drink, then hiccuped with laughter and held her hand up to Emily. "And way to go on that!"

That only made Emily laugh more. "But it's true! That's a flawed comparison. The female lions are all over each other to keep the males entertained."

Unless there were gay lions, then Emily was wrong.

"And the male lions are strutting for, uh... the cougars?" Heeee. "So you have a point! We're not supposed to be the target demographic!"

Emily nodded sagely. "We're a bunch of girls in a strip club, and none of us is getting married soon. Totally the wrong demographic here."
